Dr. Behnaz Yazdanfar's Qualifications

As mentioned on the About page, Dr. Yazdanfar graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Doctorate in Medicine and is entitled to practice medicine by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. She has successfully performed thousands of cosmetic surgical procedures throughout her professional career, and remains the current leader in Canada of the laser assisted liposuction technique, Smartlipo.
Dr. Yazdanfar routinely performs cosmetic surgical procedures at Toronto Cosmetic Clinic, specializing in liposuction and breast augmentation. To remain as up-to-date as possible with technological advancements and scientific breakthroughs in the field of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Yazdanfar attends international congresses, symposiums, live surgery workshops, and professional meetings on a regular basis, training and performing with world leaders in liposuction, breast augmentation, as well as other facial and body contouring techniques. She attended SFCE 2007, the 24th International Congress of the French Society of Aesthetic Surgery in Paris, France. However, this information is by no means complete; Dr. Yazdanfar attends seminars, workshops and training sessions on a regular basis. Voluntary Work
In recognition of her voluntary work, Dr. Yazdanfar has received the Award for Excellence in Cosmetic Surgery Education, honoured by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery for completing extensive time in Voluntary Continuing Medical Education.
Noninvasive Cosmetic Surgery
Dr. Yazdanfar's professional training does not just stop at invasive cosmetic surgical procedures; she has also been trained in a number of noninvasive cosmetic enhancement procedures, including the administration of the injectable fillers Evolence and Radiesse, advanced injection techniques for BOTOX, Endermologie,and Venous Duplex Ultrasound and Sclerotherapy Techniques. In addition, she has attended workshops and meetings on chemical peels and fat transfer techniques.
